CityUHK MAASS Clinical Mental Health Practice Stream – Workshop and Information Seminar for Academic Year 2026/27
We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Workshop and Information Seminar for the Academic Year 2026/27, organized by our MAASS Clinical Mental Health Practice Stream.
Commencing in the academic year 2025/26, the Clinical Mental Health Practice Stream aims to equip social work and helping professionals with advanced knowledge and skills to address the increasingly urgent challenges related to mental distress. The Stream offers advanced training in clinical mental health practice for working with a wide range of individuals experiencing mental health difficulties, including schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, and dementia.
We would like to extend this opportunity for you and your colleagues to learn more about the design and details of the programmes offered and cordially invite you to attend the workshop to be held on 10 January 2026 and register through this survey.

Handling for Self-Harm and Neurodivergent Students with Special Educational and Emotional Needs – Evidence Based Practice
This workshop provides participants with knowledge and theory on current evidence-based practices for assessing and managing self-harm behaviour in students with special educational and emotional needs. The workshop will be delivered by Dr. May Lam (Psychiatrist), who is widely regarded as an international expert in child and adolescent mental health.
