The Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences (SS) has long aimed at providing out-of-classroom, co-curricular learning that motivates students. SS has organised Overseas Summer School Programmes and we subsidized students to join the Summer Programme at Boston University (BU) in the USA and The University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada in the summers of 2024 and 2025.
The summer programmes provide SS participants an opportunity not only to study courses within or out of their majors, but also to enhance their exposure to the global community, which is essential for them to develop as lifelong learners, community contributors, and competitive future job candidates.
